What is PMMA? Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) is one of the amorphous polymers that belong to the acrylate family. Used in biochemistry and biomedicine, cosmetic intermediates, conductive polymers, plastisol and other industries. It is also used in the manufacture of transparent accessories for aircraft, automobiles and ships, optical lenses and decorative parts of buildings, etc.
Methyl methacrylate is one of the most common methacrylates.
