Usage of bleach powder
Usage 1: Used for bleaching cotton, linen, pulp, silk fiber fabrics, sterilization and disinfection of drinking water, swimming pool water, etc., purification of acetylene, etc.
Usage 2: Mainly used for bleaching cotton fabrics, chemical fibers, and pulp, as well as for disinfection and sterilization.
Usage 3: Used as an analytical reagent, bleach, hair removal agent, and oxidant.
Usage 4: Used for bleaching cotton, linen, pulp, silk fiber fabrics, sterilization and disinfection of drinking water, swimming pool water, etc., purification of acetylene, etc.
Usage 5: This product is an efficient bleaching agent. Store at room temperature for more than 200 days without decomposition. Mainly used for bleaching cotton and linen, chemical fibers, pulp, and starch. It can also be used for disinfection and sterilization of drinking water, swimming pool water, and as an anti mold and anti-corrosion agent in leather storage.
Use 6: Antimicrobial; Tap water purifying agent; Disinfectants; Bleach. Same as bleach powder, but with high effective chlorine content. When used in water, there is less insoluble residue, stable properties, and a tendency to replace bleach powder.
Usage 7: Mainly used for bleaching paper pulp and cotton, linen and silk fabrics in Textile manufacturing. It is also used for sterilization and disinfection of urban and rural drinking water, swimming pool water, etc. The chemical industry is used for the purification of acetylene and the manufacturing of chloroform and other organic chemical raw materials. It can be used as a wool anti shrink agent, deodorizer, etc.
Usage 8: It is an efficient bleaching agent. Mainly used for bleaching cotton and linen textiles, chemical fibers, pulp, and starch, as well as for disinfection and sterilization of drinking water and swimming pool water. In military industry, it can be used as a chemical disinfectant (such as mustard gas) and a radioactive disinfectant.
Usage 9: Disinfectant, bleach, deodorizer, oxidant.
Character:White powder with strong chlorine odor. Its solution is a yellow green semi transparent liquid.
Storage conditions
1. Store in isolation from organic, flammable, explosive, reducing agents, toxic substances, acids, etc. During storage and transportation, do not expose to sunlight or rain in the open air. Not suitable for long-term storage. If stored for one year, the loss will be about 6%~12%. If the iron bucket is damaged, electric welding cannot be used. Tin welding should be used, and it is best to use bucket repair agent to repair it. When loading and unloading, handle with care and do not roll. When a fire occurs, yellow sand and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers can be used to extinguish it. Firefighters should wear Gas mask or gas masks.
2. Storage precautions: Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from sparks and heat sources. The temperature of the warehouse shall not exceed 30 ℃, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 80%. The packaging requires sealing and must not come into contact with air. It should be stored separately from reducing agents, acids, flammable substances, etc., and mixed storage should be avoided. It should not be stored in large quantities or for a long time. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain leaks.
Stability
1. Exposed to the air, it is easy to absorb water, carbon dioxide (or meet with inorganic acids) and decompose to release Hypochlorous acid and chlorine, and then Hypochlorous acid will decompose to generate hydrogen chloride and new ecological oxygen, with bleaching effect. The presence of metal ions such as nickel, cobalt, iron, copper, and manganese can promote their decomposition. Has the ability to disinfect and sterilize. It is a strong oxidant. Due to the presence of calcium chloride in its composition, it is easy to absorb moisture and has extremely unstable properties. Sunlight, heat, and acidity can cause it to deteriorate and reduce the effective chlorine content. When mixed with organic substances and Flammable liquid, it can generate heat and spontaneous combustion, and will explode under high heat. Toxic!
2. The main component is Calcium hypochlorite, containing a small amount of calcium chloride and Calcium hydroxide. Its effective chlorine content is above 60% to 70%. Easily soluble in water, releases a large amount of heat and primary oxygen when exposed to water. Heating rapidly decomposes and causes explosions. When it reacts with acids, chlorine gas can be released. When it reacts with organic compounds and oils, it can cause combustion. When exposed to light, it is prone to decomposition and explosion, resulting in the production of oxygen and chlorine gas. Due to the low content of calcium chloride and water, its stability is higher than that of bleach powder, and it does not decompose when stored at room temperature for more than 200 days. After one year of storage, the effective chlorine content decreased by 6.6%, and after three years, it decreased by 14%.
3. Easily soluble in water (27g/100cm3, 0 ℃) but insoluble in ethanol. Oxidizing agents. Disproportionation into CaCl2 and Ca (ClO3) 2 in aqueous solution. When heated, it decomposes into CaCl2 and O2. It is corrosive and irritating.
4. Stability and stability
5. Prohibited substances: strong reducing agents, strong acids, ammonia, flammable or combustible substances, water
6. Avoid contact conditions such as heat, light, and humid air
7. Polymerization hazard: non polymerization
8. Decomposition product chloride, Calcium oxide
